PREP (FORMS 3 - 6)
- Age 7 to11 years
The Prep department (Forms 3 - 6) also follow the National Curriculum,
again with the addition of French and a wide range of specialist teacher
provision. Children in Form 6 have the option to participate in the
Consortium Selective Test (11+) and a large majority go on to one of the
local Grammar Schools. All children in Form 6 also take their end of Key
Stage 2 SATs.

will outline some of the changes for your child as they move into
Form 3 or 4 and give a brief outline of their curriculum. |

Form 5 is an
important year in your child’s education as many children are
preparing for the 11+ examination at the beginning of Form 6 in
November. This Information for Parents booklet will explain some
features of the year and how parents can best support their children
as they enter Form 5. |

Last year you
received a Form 5 information booklet as your child was about to
move into Form 5. Now your child is moving into Form 6 and although
a lot of the information in last year’s booklet is still relevant,
there are some changes and additions for the current year.
